Line 33 has much to celebrate. Since the Spring 1997, these women have grown to become amazing servant leaders and positive contributors to their communities - a nurse, teachers, assistant principal, principals, professors, attorneys, social workers, and entrepreneurs, with at least one third of the line having a terminal degree! It was time for these Divas to meet-up again and re-connect with those they met over 21 years ago.
Line 33 celebrated 21 years of Sisterhood the weekend of April 26, 2018 - April 29, 2018. On that Friday, the Independent Dames dined at Zea's and danced the "Delta Wobble" at a rooftop gathering. Line 33 woke Saturday morning to their community service at the Covenant House New Orleans and sponsored/served pizza, chips, cookies, and drinks to the residents there. Later that day, they ate at Deanie's and walked the Quarters together enjoying the time with each other. Sunday began with a planning meeting for the next reunions, to be held in Las Vegas 2020 and a cruise in 2022, as well as plans to meet at the Chapter's 50th and Line 33's 25th in Natchitoches. Sunday Service was attended. All made it to their destinations safely by that evening.
Please enjoy some photos from the 21st Deltaversary. (In attendance: Tiameko, Heather, Synthia, Roshanda, Lynee', Carmella, Belinda, and Francina.)
